About PMUAC

Preah Vihear Mean Chey Union of Agricultural Cooperative (PMUAC) was founded on 25 April 2016 by 8 Agricultural Cooperatives (AC) in Preah Vihear province with the objectives of supporting its AC members to produce organic rice and other agricultural products and of taking over the role of supervision of internal control system. It was officially registered as a legal entity by Ministry of Agricultural Forestry and Fisheries of General Directorate of Agriculture on 19th July 2016. The office of PMUAC is located in Aekakpheap village, Sangkat Pal Hal, Krong Preah Vihear, Preah Vihear province, phone number: (+855)71 555 3444, and email address: unionpmuac@gmail.com. Up to 2021, PMUAC has 25 AC members (equal to 5,403 farmer households).

“Farmers in Preah Vihear province have improved living conditions, and live with prosperity and dignity”.

Mission

“To support capacity development, strengthen product quality to comply with market needs, and support market access to membership farmers, as well as operating relevant business in order to sustainably increase their incomes”.

Goal

“Farmers supported by PMUAC have capacity to produce agricultural products based on market needs, and their incomes increase”.
